In my experience you need money. Then also with your friends you need similar emotional ability. When 17 I used to hang out with very few people but.... what I'm looking back at now... The friends I did have were autistic spectrum and so was I but we didn't know that at the time. Neither of us did, we were just friends. Going to music gigs etc.. Or down the pub in England as you do. Its no use trying to associate with Chads because you just won't be able to relate or communicate on a meaningful basis. Another thing, at your age you can focus and learn at topic deeply AND quickly. Heres a tip. Now in the computer industry theres a thing happening and if you can learn it fast, you'll do good. Its migration. Computer systems are migrating from MS Microsoft to Linux Server Database. So, in a nutshell, find people on your level for friends and start intensive learning how to migrate Servers from MS to Linux. Sorted.
