There weren't as many, but I'm sure they still had proto-incels, just like many historical eras did. Such as a local village retard or some people who everybody in town knew can't get laid.
I know that in the 1800s-1900s they also used to have traveling circus freakshows where genetic abominations and defects were showcased to people. The people working in those shows were most certainly incels.
