Normies spend their youth fucking around, which most of us envy. But at a certain point they stop, "settle down". This is where we're lucky.

They're convinced by society, their parents and relatives, movies and TV shows and school and colleagues, that getting married and having children is what you have to do.

And they do it. They think that "love exists". Within less than 2 years the love has faded, but the programming is so thorough that they convince themselves that it's fine - like when you buy something expensive and it turns out to be shit, you lie to yourself, afraid to think about the what it cost you.

Settling down turns out is not fun at all. It's work on top of your already demanding full-time job. So they have a kid. That will fix things.

But it doesn't. They fool themselves that they enjoy being parents, taking care of this thing, but it's just a drain of energy, time and money.

And then they grow old. Hating their life but not daring to admit it.

Meanwhile, we were miserable from the start, but at least we're free when we're not wageslaving.

tbh I realised a while back I'll probably be about as miserable in a relationship as I am now. Most guys who made fun of me when I was younger for not having a gf either don't get sex anymore, have a bitchy wife that treats them like shit, or she divorced him years ago but he's too ashamed to admit he was divorce raped. Around that time I started taking great joy in other people's misery. It's a form of cope but seeing a bunch of miserable faces brings me immense joy. You're making a point, but I can easily counter your argument to develop my theory.
Your claim : "Wild animals are more free but they die faster and are lonely" is only true to an extent.
Take for exemple the animals in a zoo or the Orcas in an aquatic Park, they in fact die sooner and more miserable than their wild version.
Our loneliness is both a strenght and a weakness, It's double-edged. So we are lucky in a way, yes.
Now I'm not saying we don't crave for a relationship and that our live isn't misery.
