I have not been to my home town in nearly 12 years now. I sometimes imagine going back there when I'm a lonely old decrepit man, and taking a walk along the same trails that I did as a child. At the end of it all, I will find a nice grassy knoll and let myself expire, allow death to finally ferry me into the abyss.
