Wearing a mask in public.

How many of you guys actually do this? I'm to the point that this seems to be the only choice I have to go out in public without being tempted to jump of a bridge when I get home. 
Wearing a mask and not having a name associated with my damn face would lift so much pain off my shoulders. 
I'm sure there are laws against this, but people can wear religious garb that totally conceals the face without issue.

I actually fantasize about living in the north pole or somewhere extremely cold just so I could cover myself as much as possible while also reaming socially acceptable.
