You are literally advertising your unknown easily stolen plot lines and themes to a site filled with desperate failed writers (you really think nobody is going to try and steal that idea and "run with it").
While you are showing your story to random fucks online, some of those same random fucks are emailing their spin of your plot to publishers "in the business" and getting publicity that matters.
You can't copyright a plot, they can make a few alterations and character changes and poof, completely new novel.

I'd much rather publish to Amazon and niche down with targeted advertising. That way its more likely to be seen by the right people and it will be seen by paying customers, not people who are looking for a FREE read.
I don't think you realize how hard it is to stand out on those saturated sites filled to the brim with free stories that are similar to yours, and that's even harder now with so many people home and writing too due to COVID
With everything else on the site being FREE you have to advertise and promote even more to get people to spend money

I do get where you are coming from, it seems i was a bit biased too. i had this clear idea on my mind with the steps i had to take to make a novel, maybe i should revaluate things.
I can't say i have a good idea yet, so that might be why i'm willing to take that aproach, first get experience then write something good. i also haven't found that many good novels on amazon, i dont pay so that may be a reason. the content i liked the most were on pages like RR or just straight up CN/JP/KR novels.

You mentioned that you work on projects so I'm assuming you're a freelancer, which is a very important point - wealthmaxxing is worth it only if you're following your own goals, not the goals of a bunch of Chad tallfag CEOs and managers who simp for foids. I wouldn't be surprised if what "revived" you wasn't just the payment itself but rather the knowledge that your work has been appreciated by someone. I think the whole "you value what you work hard for" stuff is complete bullshit, its a belief system passed on by the elites of society to the plebs of society for the sole purpose of deluding them into having a "slave mindset" of "valuing hard work".
If I woke up tomorrow and randomly found a brief case filled with a million dollars I wouldn't value it any less than if I had "worked hard" and gained a million dollars, money is money. A lot of people who are rich were born into wealth, do you think the lavish lives they live are any less enjoyable because it wasn't "earned"?
I doubt it, they are living amazing lives and they know its amazing, in fact knowing that you got it without doing anything makes it even more enjoyable. You don't have all the years of bitterness and struggle that is usually required to gain wealth, and those experiences shape the way you look at the world and how much you can enjoy certain things.
People born into wealth get the best of both worlds, they get to look at the world through rose tinted glasses and they get to live a privileged existence. All the positivity and naivety of an optimistic young person who hasn't faced hardships, and all the wealth of someone who has faced hardships.
They get all of the positives of wealth with none of the negatives that were required to gain it.

A compliment isn't convincing - in order to make a compliment, someone can just whip up a few words and they're done, especially if they're NT. The money you've been sent had taken the payer time to earn and therefore is much more sincere.
That wasn't my point, but rather that working on something by yourself or in a small team is more tangible than just selling your time. You can work your ass off for a company and be paid a lot but there will be a disconnect between the work and the payment. The food analogy was misleading because growing your own food is more inefficient than just buying it from a shop.
Sure, I would gladly accept a million dollars for free. I would definitely make use of it and never worry about going broke again. But I can't choose that; my only choice is to either be a wagecuck or a freelancer, and I was saying that the latter is better. To clarify, though, if you can use extra money to make yourself happier or if there's no work you enjoy doing, then wagecucking efficiently is the better option.
