when you got good face and height its easy innit.
Please learn to read, if you took half the time you put into typing up this ridiculous response, into reading properly, you wouldn't have made this obvious mistakeHow dare I be pessimistic, instead of flexing getting a paypal check from a year ago
Nah, how about users like you just fucking kill yourself because you plan on doing nothing with your life anywaysto a bunch of low life scum-tier incels like us how about you just do more of it and stop posting here if your goal is self improvement, probably the healthy thing to do for your business yeah? You're seriously wasting your time on here.
Congrats BlkPillPres,Please learn to read, if you took half the time you put into typing up this ridiculous response, into reading properly, you wouldn't have made this obvious mistake
The paypal check was from that very day, it was from a project I started a year ago, in order words I'm now seeing sales and traffic increasing from something I worked on a year ago
Nah, how about users like you just fucking kill yourself because you plan on doing nothing with your life anyways
You can use the bullshit excuse of "I'm a lowlife" but its just an excuse so you can pat yourself on the back for doing nothing
There are a lot of incels that have thanked me for my writings on and off this forum, whereas all retards like you promote is "LDAR brooo "
That doesn't lead anywhere, this thread is for you:
[Hard To Swallow Edition] If You Are Never Going To Try And Change Your Life & You Plan On Committing Suicide, There's No Point In Waiting A Few Years
TBH I hate every LDAR person, to me that is a source of ragefuel, everytime I see one of them speak I start to imagine myself slitting their throats or strangling them, I truly hate them. I''m not even kidding, I actually start feeling a shaking anger whenever I read one of their posts, its...incels.is
Your actions are illogical, there's no logical reason for you to wait around and keep pointlessly existing, do the deed already, or are you just sticking around to pull down as much incels as possible along with you?
All people like you do here is demotivate others who could become successful, imagine if you spent that time actually trying to improve your own life smh
I don't even have ads yet, you need 1000 subs and 4000 hours of watch time before you can get paid from ads on youtube?Think Ive watched a few of your videos, sorry about cheating you out of ads. Use a blocker.
Wow I didn't know it required that much.I don't even have ads yet, you need 1000 subs and 4000 hours of watch time before you can get paid from ads on youtube?
4000 hours = 5 months worth of watch time
Its ridiculous, the barrier of entry for being a youtuber has become sky high, I should have started earlier
It will be a while before I have amount of hours watched
A trucker vlogger is probably a good niche, but if you are already making good money what's the point, at first I started my youtube account because I just wanted to make these videos, but my main intention is to monetize it, but the channel may never take off so its on the back burner for me, I'll make a video whenever I feel like it and have free time.Wow I didn't know it required that much.
Thought about youtube myself but I don't like the way I look or sound on camera. Thought I could do some tips and tricks videos to help out the newer drivers.
Sub par money better times are ahead.A trucker vlogger is probably a good niche, but if you are already making good money what's the point, at first I started my youtube account because I just wanted to make these videos, but my main intention is to monetize it, but the channel may never take off so its on the back burner for me, I'll make a video whenever I feel like it and have free time.
There are novels with good following that have deep plot and interesting characters, it's just the minority as the demand is not that strong.Nah dude, I'm aiming for a "best seller" kind of novel, not just some random fandom online where if I somehow make it to the top 1% I'd be making money
My novel has to be read by those mom book clubs
If you can get your novel trending and you publish it to amazon, you'll become an overnight millionaire. Everybody shops on amazon, you won't have to drive traffic there once your book is known
You are basically starting off from a mindset where you expect that nobody is going to value your writing so you are aiming low from the get go
No writer worth their salt is aiming to post on wattpad dude
If I was going to do something like that, i'd just take the easy route and write some erotica, sex is much easier to sell, no point coming up with characters, and a good plot, and "deeper meaning" in the names of the characters, the story, character development, the problems they face, their personality flaws, etc
I just presented another posibility.I already put all this shit together and you think I'm gonna just wipe my ass with it and post it to wattpad and patreon
I'm trying to be realistic, you cant make a best selling novel just cause you want to. you can make a best selling novel if you put your soul and heart into it, if it becomes a top seller then great. if not then whatever as you just wanted to make it. i find it hilarious that you have not considered the posibility of failure and you want to make a novel to become a top seller... jflOf course you won't know I did all of that before now, but my point is, you're already starting off with the worst possible mindset if you aren't trying to become a "best seller" or household novelist
So basically you just put in the trash can whatever posibility that's presented to you and love to be a dick about it. good to know, also there's a lot of talent on RR. so no, they're not treating their novels as trash, a lot of people actually got famous for them and published on amazon later. Why even bother writing at that point?
You want some quick money with a patreon fandom?
Go learn how to make 3D porn on software, learn 3d modelling and hire a female voice actor, make the shit as degenerate as possible, you'll have a dedicated fanbase that pays you well (I have thought about doing this and I may still actually do this, but this is what patreon is for, not something you are putting your "heart and soul" into, I have real fleshed out characters for my novel, I'm not going to treat them like trash lol)
You can't "make it" on those sites you suggested just because you want to either. So I'd much rather depend on my own efforts than to go for the low hanging fruit and "hope for the best".I'm trying to be realistic, you cant make a best selling novel just cause you want to.
Sorry if it came out that way but anybody who posts to a site like that is basically admitting that they don't think much of their own ideas or writing to begin with, and they are trying to make a "quick buck" and "hoping for the best".So basically you just put in the trash can whatever posibility that's presented to you and love to be a dick about it.
I'm starting to think you are a writer on RR lol.good to know, also there's a lot of talent on RR. so no, they're not treating their novels as trash
Yeah I just read one of those stories, they were the one who talked about the "model for success" on Royal Road and similar sitesa lot of people actually got famous for them and published on amazon later.
You'll never get through to some. A lot of people seem to think everything is luck or having connections. You can't "make it" on those sites you suggested just because you want to either. So I'd much rather depend on my own efforts than to go for the low hanging fruit and "hope for the best".
Those sites have the added obstacle of anyone being able to steal your story and then repackage to make their own, and if they have better connections than you (and writing experience), your great idea will become their success.
You are literally advertising your unknown easily stolen plot lines and themes to a site filled with desperate failed writers (you really think nobody is going to try and steal that idea and "run with it").
While you are showing your story to random fucks online, some of those same random fucks are emailing their spin of your plot to publishers "in the business" and getting publicity that matters.
You can't copyright a plot, they can make a few alterations and character changes and poof, completely new novel.
Creating something first doesn't matter, what matters is who has the most publicity.
If someone stole your idea and their novel went viral, and you came out later screaming that they stole your idea, nothing would come of it, you'd just be there with egg on your face.
I just won't take that risk because i genuinely think I have something here.
Sorry if it came out that way but anybody who posts to a site like that is basically admitting that they don't think much of their own ideas or writing to begin with, and they are trying to make a "quick buck" and "hoping for the best".
I don't like "hoping", I will always take a more direct approach.
I believe in the story that I have completely and my ability to create something that is valued, so I would never step down to that point. I'd be selling myself short.
If you go into writing like that YOU ARE ALREADY STARTING OFF FROM A FRAMEWORK OF "I WILL FAIL".
The path you suggest is one that would be taken by someone who has already decided that they would never "make it" to begin with, so they are trying to get "something".
For me its all or nothing, I don't care about making "some money", I don't care about my book being read by "some people", I'd rather not waste my time writing at all in that case.
Let me put it this way, that guy who created the One Punch Man webcomic, he's one of the people that decided that he would never make it in the world of manga, so he just gave up on taking it to that extent and posted a webcomic online.
HE GOT LUCKY and now his webcomic is being published as a manga and it has an anime, but think of all the other people with webcomics that will never get that kind of following and sales because they gave up too. They will just languish in obscurity and failure till their deaths.
I appreciate the suggestion, but, whether you realize it or not:
YOU ARE ADVISING THAT PEOPLE DEPEND ON LUCK RATHER THAN THEIR OWN EFFORTS
There's a reason why being a "soundcloud rapper" is a well known meme/joke, nobody really takes them seriously. Wattpad and Royal Road writers are in that same category.
The people browsing sites like Wattpad and Royal Road are randos looking for a FREE story to read and other failed writers looking for "inspiration" or a story to outright steal and make their own.
I'd much rather publish to Amazon and niche down with targeted advertising. That way its more likely to be seen by the right people and it will be seen by paying customers, not people who are looking for a free read.
I don't think you realize how hard it is to stand out on those saturated sites filled to the brim with free stories that are similar to yours, and that's even harder now with so many people home and writing too due to COVID
With everything else on the site being FREE you have to advertise and promote even more to get people to spend money
ALSO:
I just went and did a bit of reading about the "model" of finding success on those sites
You have to write like 75 to 100+ chapters ahead of time, release a few for free to build a following, then start a patreon and get a following that hopefully is filled with people willing to pay just to read chapters earlier than others who will still end up reading it for free when it comes out, and then you can release volumes on Amazon for your dedicated fans to buy (the same stuff that they paid for already on Patreon)
AGAIN, ALL OF IT IS FREE ON THE SITE, THE PEOPLE PAYING ARE THOSE WILLING TO PAY JUST TO READ SOMETHING EARLIER
So from the get go the best strategy is in conflict with human nature, I know I would just wait and read it for free than buy the book
Heck I've never bought a movie, or game or manga or anime, all of it will be online for free at some point, there's endless entertainment so there is no "pressure" to buy entertainment at all
If you want financial success YOU NEED A "PAY WALL". People value what they have to pay for, they appreciate it more. People might ironically underappreciate your novel BECAUSE ITS FREE, which impedes your success.
I'm starting to think you are a writer on RR lol.
I'm sorry but if you put your work on there, deep down you've probably given up on your work, and you are just "hoping" that you will one day get a huge following and "maybe" find success in the world of writing.
Yeah I just read one of those stories, they were the one who talked about "model" for success on Royal Road
They got lucky (even they admitted to that), just like how "One" (the guy who made the One Punch Man webcomic I mentioned before) got lucky. Most people who go the route of posting their story to some saturated fanfic tier site will never have their writings seen BY PEOPLE WHO MATTER.
It doesn't matter HOW MANY people see your work, it matters WHO see's your work.
Also there was nothing stopping someone with connections in the writing industry from reading their novel on that site and then creating their own spin on it and making it a best seller. In fact I would not be surprised if this happens often.
They are literally advertising their work to be stolen on a site filled with MANY DESPERATE FAILED WRITERS LOOKING FOR SUCCESS.
If your story idea is "too good", someone will probably steal it.
This is why I say, if you think nothing of your work, you aren't going to be worried about posting it there. I would never post what I have on there, because I know it will be stolen (probably by someone with better writing skills than me), and then my idea becomes their success.
My story is not generic at all, it will stand out, and I need it to stand out to my benefit, not stand out in obscurity to where someone with more connections and skill than me can take my idea and make a fortune off of it.
It is about work, for the average person though, for some they can actually just depend on their connections, that's the unfair part about this entire thingYou'll never get through to some. A lot of people seem to think everything is luck or having connections.
No its about hard work.
I agreeIf I just sat around and wished for it or treated it like a lottery nothing would happen.
Success is all on the decisions we make or don't make. Risks we take or don't take.
I was pissed off for a while when the small business admin gave estes millions for new trucks but yet i couldn't get a dollar. even though i meet the requirements for a small business and estes doesn't.It is about work, for the average person though, for some they can actually just depend on their connections, that's the unfair part about this entire thing
Someone like me has no choice but to depend on my own efforts, I'll have to spend a year or two practicing my writing, reading novels similar to what I'm writing and learning from those masterlcass courses from well known famous writers
A person who is "in the industry" however could just write up some quick nonsense with barely any world building and they'd get published easily and probably get more sales than I ever would
Luck and connections will sadly always exceed hard work, I work hard because I have no choice, I'm not someone that can depend on luck and connections
I agree
Luck is a huge factor, but the large majority of us can't depend on that
Think about it, we already have incel tier luck to have been born with the genetics we have
Imagine thinking you are now going to get lucky online and build some niche online fandom for your writings
I do get where you are coming from, it seems i was a bit biased too. i had this clear idea on my mind with the steps i had to take to make a novel, maybe i should revaluate things. You can't "make it" on those sites you suggested just because you want to either. So I'd much rather depend on my own efforts than to go for the low hanging fruit and "hope for the best".
Long time no see. We need to chat in private sometime soon. I must say this place has changed a bit. Nevertheless I think you're one of the few "incels" that actually understands what the fuck is going on. I know you're more paranoid than Batman. Still, I am an old friend and would love to chat.It is about work, for the average person though, for some they can actually just depend on their connections, that's the unfair part about this entire thing

Not an alt. I met BPP on YouTube on his video about why "Having Daughters is the Ultimate Cuck". I remember this place being much different back in the day. But I never made an account. You just exposed yourself as an alt state your former name
Yeah we can chat at some point, don't expect me to give away any details though lolLong time no see. We need to chat in private sometime soon. I must say this place has changed a bit. No it was just the payment, because if I had instead received an email of someone just complimenting my work I wouldn't give a fuck lol.I wouldn't be surprised if what "revived" you wasn't just the payment itself but rather the knowledge that your work has been appreciated by someone. Like they say, food you've grown yourself tastes much better.
A compliment isn't convincing - in order to make a compliment, someone can just whip up a few words and they're done, especially if they're NT. The money you've been sent had taken the payer time to earn and therefore is much more sincere. No it was just the payment, because if I had instead received an email of someone just complimenting my work I wouldn't give a fuck lol
That wasn't my point, but rather that working on something by yourself or in a small team is more tangible than just selling your time. You can work your ass off for a company and be paid a lot but there will be a disconnect between the work and the payment. The food analogy was misleading because growing your own food is more inefficient than just buying it from a shop.I think the whole "you value what you work hard for" stuff is complete bullshit, its a belief system passed on by the elites of society to the plebs of society for the sole purpose of deluded them into having a "slave mindset"
Sure, I would gladly accept a million dollars for free. I would definitely make use of it and never worry about going broke again. But I can't choose that; my only choice is to either be a wagecuck or a freelancer, and I was saying that the latter is better. To clarify, though, if you can use extra money to make yourself happier or if there's no work you enjoy doing, then wagecucking efficiently is the better option. If I woke up tomorrow and randomly found a brief case filled with a million dollars I wouldn't value it any less than if I had "worked hard" and gained a million dollars, money is money, a lot of people who are rich were born into wealth, do you think the lavish lives they live are any less enjoyable because it wasn't "earned"?
