They weren't reminded of how subhuman they were as often and people were alot more nice back then compared to now. Some of them probably got laid a few times even if they were subhuman. Now with internet and social media you will be reminded alot more often that you are incel and countless of videos and clips are out there. Either of foids making fun of ugly males or males being rejected. Because of social media, music, movies etc hypergamy is also 1000x more worse now compared to 120 years ago.
