I'm surprised more discussion hasn't moved to the darkweb. Seems like very few discussion boards there. People are still compelled to feel semi-restricted even on anonymous names due to the nature of your IP being attached and easy recourse if you do say things too incendiary.
Andrew Anglin proved that, and now he's hiding from bullshit lawsuits. But still, knowing any discussion on the darkweb is effectively silence due to audience potential, they keep making new domains.
Incels was no different being cast off of reddit. It's still deplatforming from major hubs of traffic that should in all seriousness be regulated (twitter, Google, reddit, these venues are too big now, and power abuse to stifle free speech is proven easier via capitalism than governments under the guise of "it's a private company").
Obviously the downside is exposure. Being on the darkweb completely neuters the penetration of your ideas to the masses (people can find this site easily), much like having bitcoin IRL is next to worthless.
