About 50% of children died before reaching maturity just some centuries ago. This means half of your descendants would perish under the harsh conditions that existed at the time. What changed?

The industrial revolution. It advanced medicine, turned resources more abundant, and brought the highly comfortable lifestyle that we experience today.

In other words, it weakened natural selection. The people who thrived under the past's harsh conditions were healthier, smarter, and more adapted. Every undesirable gene is reproduced these days, so everyone gets to live, even the ones who would have died in infancy centuries ago. Including us, unfortunately.

100%! I've written threads about this here. Advances in healthcare, housing, and food supply ironically made us less healthy and adaptable over time by allowing dysgenic mutations to remain and spread within our populations which made us maladaptive and weak. But happened as a result of industrialization as well as other advances in agriculture, medicine, surgery, etc.

this , sometimes I think that trying to make more babies with these procedures and diets makes more incels .
what if the miscarriages were an indication that the child is not supposed to be born and the early deaths as well.

That makes no sense.
Some of us are just ugly, not unhealthy.

I had a quite bad condition when I was born. I guess I shouldnt even be here

My father was born prematurely and was very skinny at birth. He probably wouldn't have survived in any other time in history and I wouldn't be here today.

American healthcare is like I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream...

>conceived via ivf
>c-section due to birth complication
>no breast milk
>saved by antibiotics before I turned 1
God didn't want me to live.

Natural selection must be abolished
