My gut feeling is no; however, I am not a geneticist so I cannot give a definitive answer on this matter. One of the side effects of a eugenics program would be the unintentional breeding-out of desirable characteristics (i.e., schizophrenic genes are linked to higher creativity, etc.), all of which would have to be taken in account when turning this theory into praxis. How these characteristics are distributed across races, I haven't got the faintest clue. But looking at the way a lot of non-White races act today, I wouldn't be surprised if the criminality gene predisposes CERTAIN races to living incarcerated lives.

Gene editing is a form of eugenics. To clarify my position further: we don't need to kill anyone. We just need to selectively breed humans. The dysgenic traits will wither away in due time. I support forced sterilization AT THE MOST. Definitely do not go around killing people because they're dysgenic.

I think the problem is we evolved in a competitive landscape that had no concept of ethics or cruelty.
