Let’s face it: we were born in the worst possible timeline. Our grandfathers had it easy.... stable jobs, affordable homes, women who didn’t treat dating like a fucking auction house. Then came the sexual revolution, the death of the nuclear family, and the rise of hypergamy. But just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, here comes the final nail in the coffin: dating apps and social media.
Think about it. Women now have thousands of options at their fingertips. Why settle for a 5/10 guy working a decent job when Chad is one swipe away? The average woman’s standards have skyrocketed because apps like Tinder and Instagram have warped their perception of reality. They’re addicted to validation, drowning in attention, and convinced they’re all just one DM away from a billionaire. Meanwhile, men like us? We’re invisible.
And let’s talk about the economy. Rent is a joke, $1.5K+ for a shoebox apartment in some soulless suburb. Wages? Stagnant. Inflation? Eating away whatever scraps we have left. Our fathers could support a family on a single income; now we’re lucky if we can afford a studio without roommates. Women say they want “ambition,” but how the fuck are we supposed to build anything when the system is rigged against us?
We’re the first generation where:
-Dating is a rigged casino (unless you’re top 10% in looks/status, you lose).
-Loyalty is dead (why commit when the next best thing is a notification away?).
-Masculinity is demonized (be assertive? You’re toxic. Be gentle? You’re weak.).
-The future is financial slavery (work until you’re 70, die alone).
So how do you cope? Dropping out entirely? I’m not here with answers, just the cold, hard truth. We drew the shortest straw in history. The question is: what the fuck do we do about it?
