I'd like to begin talking about ascending. It is one of the biggest lies an incel can tell himself, once you actively think about self-improving to do so that's the most clear indicator, of many that you overlooked, that there is something inherently wrong within you. How can you think like this about something so trivial and natural to normal non-chad people like forming social relationships (not limited to romantic ones), while you plan on stuff like no-fap or gymcelling and still think there is hope for ''ascending''? Most people here claim they want a girl, but the vast majority has no clue how they would maintain a relationship, and that is again a thing normal people have much less problem than us. Many here can't even imagine themselves in the situations they see those people in. That stuff just doesn't happen for someone who functions normally

We missed basic social development steps during our teens and childhood because of our looks and how the world treated us thanks to them, take those who had bad parenting and they are even more fucked. All of this took a toll on our social skills and personality (yes, those DO matter and you're lying to yourself if you deny it, although looks are WAY more important) and made each one of us a mentalcel on some level, even if we don't have autism or something like that.

This is exactly why there is no point in self-improving for ''ascending'', there is no making up for the mental scars from your upbringing, there is no such thing as ascending even if your looks aren't abhorrent. You had bad luck and something went wrong when you were growing and now you're here, and it is over, no way out.

I'm not saying you should LDAR, it is preferable to just off yourself if you think like that. But you should give up on self-improving based on a false hope of getting women and just focus on other stuff of your life. I'd recommend avoiding as much females as possible and basically trying to live for yourself only.

This is just wrong, sure it sucks that we can't have women but these were the cards we were dealt with and there is happiness to be found on life besides pussy anyway. Also, it is not like having a gf would magically destroy any chance of unhappiness and misery striking you, just like not having one won't make you happiness-immune. You just need to accept your reality, give up on women and pursue other goals for your life.

I would not rely on maintaining a relationship as a given. I would compromise a little bit if I value what a girl brings, but hopefully not simp to the point of completely folding. I would want to be able to express at least a significant amount of my interests and be loved for them.

Yep, that's also true. Ugliness even has a huge impact on our professional success, and not only through the halo effect that attractive people have and we don't, but indirectly it makes it harder to even motivate yourself and be disciplined enough to do anything.

Not to mention that "networking" is an absolutely essential thing nowadays, and it can be the difference between a good job and a horrible job, and yet our ability to network is absolutely destroyed by all we had to endure our whole lives that ruined our social skills and made us develop various neuroses.

Exactly, and this at least for me is the most brutal part of being an incel and why mentalceldom affects all of us even if you don't notice it at first.
