Seems like the man was happy just working some minimum wage job, he must have been pretty good looking then to get into a relationship with her initially.
But foids just can't date down in even one aspect, if your poorer than her its over, shorter than her? Its over
She claims she would be financially supporting him, but he could have supported himself to a certain extent since he was employed, also men have always financially supported foids.
So clearly she is just over emphasising the situation to justify her own whorish hypergamy.
