The reason why men are valued because manliness is associated with power.
Men can either have:
Physical power
Intellectual power
Financial power (money)
Reproductive power (health)
Powerless men are worthless in the eyes of soyciety. The reason why females may hate nice guys is because nice guys are low on a power scale.
Being nice is a feminine trait but soyciety ( parents, teachers, priests ) tells low status men to be 'nice' and be a good guy.
But no one would take you seriously if you're powerless as a male.
This is the reason why I was being bullied, mocked, disrespected, ostracized, bossed by others my whole life ( + also for being ugly, of course ).
