I just saw a decade and a half old movie. It is so wholesome. The morals are wholesome, it’s so optimistic about how it’s possible to turn around every stage of your life into something that’s worth living, and the value of being able to experience things like love, family, and people who mean something.

The movie has a mid 30s loser man find a woman who shares his passions in life and they fall deeply in love with each other.

I feel like I woke up in another reality where this movie is so disconnected from the word I live in now and how I know the world works that it’s almost as if I accidentally slipped into ah alternative dimension. It’s as if they are coming from a world and understanding that is totally at odds with reality that I’ve been exposed to.
