it is highly bluepilled and sloppy at times but has some great moments
I don't like making justifications for gon's revenge like togashi worshippers do, relying on hints or lore, something only soyish cucked manga fandoms do usually in defense of their writer, doubling down instead of accepting it. I think it is actually sort of blackpilled. it showed how gon's utopian motives and morals really fare when they're tested, it is always easier to give advice to others while sitting on a throne, kind of how chads love giving shower advice to incels. it's not unusal for a shonen plot but also not as stereotypical too.

better than the average "good" shonen and better written than big three imo
