Watched the Overlord movie in the cinema yesterday

I love Overlord so of course I had to watch the movie on release day. Movie was pretty good I liked it!! Having read the light novels I can say they adapted it really well, they skipped some scenes but it's understandable. The cinema was pretty deserted we were only 5 people there: Me, two guys that also went alone and a two foids that went together probably mother and daughter because one was much older. Ngl would be fun if my mom was into anime So I got a perfect seat right in the back middle and just enjoyed the movie. I also got popcorn and soda.

And as usual in Overlord the official song was amazing

I watched the movie about 2 months ago, I enjoyed it. My guess is why Ainz decided to start to make weapons with rune technology and then hype it up in this movie. Effectively making him sole producer and possibly seller of rune technology weapons.

Welcome. Tho there's no DVD or digital release yet so if you didn't watch it in the cinema you'll have to wait or watch a shitty camrip version

Season 5 won't come out until the light novel is over. Because so far they adapted until volume 14 and there's 16 of them so they can't make season 5 just with two volumes of material.

Author confirmed the light novel would end with volume 18 and he wants to relase volume 17 and 18 very close to each other but there's no release date yet. So season 5 has still some years before coming out, if it does. There are some extra mini volumes with sidestories but I doubt they'd bother animating those also some were exclusives like you get them for buying the bluray or going to the cinema on release day (Japan only).
