Watching the news about Israel the past few months was great drama. Even conservative Jews must now realize just how much their liberal brethren control the media with the one-sided representation. It’s a shame the reform got pushed off to the summer.

I don't even know what this judicial overhaul would do?

It would give the legislative branch more control on selecting their Supreme Court judges like here in the US since most of the current selectors for new judges are not elected. It would also give the parliament the ability to override judge’s decisions which is more unique to Israel. Apparently they don’t have a constitution, so the different branches of government don’t have defined checks and balances like here in the US.
