picking one is basically meaningless imo since they both synergize so hard and pretty much all the instrumental music I listen to uses both a lot. however, the insane climax parts tend to be carried by the violin from my experience.

I definitely listen to more violin solos than piano solos. I love both very much but it's not at all hard for me to answer which I like more.
