the creator of animal well was legit too stupid and gay and lazy to program rebinding keys into his game, and his game never looked like a "retro game" at any point, with its obsession of using tiny sprites for everything and especially making the main character a minuscule featureless blob (a western indie game fetish)
and star of providence is the most unremarkable caca, with a slight sheen of undertale aesthetic to it, and 'the game randomly kills you' roguelike mechanics
