Imagine it, society would be so different. So many changes it's hard to even fathom.

People would only be able to connect to people they are in close proximity to. They'd forge actual bonds. Traditions would mean something again. Security would be a concern - being loyal to a man now means something to a woman.

There would be a lot of problems but we'd gain a lot too.

"Progress" was a nice little experiment. We should go back.

Tinder and social media are but a tiny part of what would change if electricity was banned. Day and night would suddenly have even more meaning. The dark would be dangerous, women would seek the protection of men. People would have to communicate with those around them more, the local community would tightly knit. People would appreciate the small things in life.

In reality most people would die within weeks, as a species we’ve been cutting our ties to nature for thousands of years with each passing generation we become more incompetent and reliant on complex networks of commerce. Things would become much less pleasant than you would imagine

That sounds nice until tribes emerge and begin to attack and enslave all who aren’t a part of their fold or when you have to go out into the wilderness and chase down your food. You’d have to fight tooth and nail simply to survive if you aren’t prepared to do that then thriving is most certainly out of the question

I highly doubt an of us would experience victory of any kind if shit were to hit the fan. I agree with you on the sentiment that a quick death would be favorable, that is of course if your enemy or in this case executioner is feeling merciful that day and of course animal attacks rarely end quickly
