I could really relate to that quote back when I craved having friends and was despERate for human company for socialization.
But the more I obsERve normies and learn about their logically flawed, low IQ hiveminded NPC ways of thinking, the less I want to associate with them and the more I want to be on my own. It’s reached the point whERe I no longER feel lonely, because I’ve learned how to adapt to my situation.
I still want to hang out with someone intEResting evERy now and then, but majority of the time I actually prefER being alone.

Same with me. In middle school I really yearned for human connection, but as time passed the need for it passed from me. I would still like to be friends and talk to someone who is actually interesting, but I can easily do without it.
