Worst part is, I know exactly what she's talking about. Go in a clothes fitting section at a major mall in a decent sized city these days, and they will all smell like this. Funny how they didn't smell like this years ago, and I know this because I practically lived in malls from 2004-2018 (shopaholic mother who enjoys buying clothes), and it wasn't until the tail end of those years that I noticed this.
