If you don't know anything about it, here's the gist: a global fertility crisis leads to the theocratic overthrow of the US government. The new Republic of Gilead attempts to solve the problem by putting women in their place and succeeds.

• Religious, ethnic and sexual minorities are enslaved or liquidated.
• Degeneracy and resistance are punishable by law.
• Guilty fertile women go through a violent re-education process that readies them to be assigned as concubines to men most valuable to the regime.
• In general, women are not allowed civil liberties and are mostly housebound. Female literacy, for example, is outlawed.

The Christian Right is ascendant and abortion is the hot topic yet again. Many draw similiraties between Reagan and Trump, we may actually see GOP win the trifecta back in 2024.
If this kind of governance is what feminists fear then why not look at it closely?

And note what the feminists are afraid of, not the Taliban prohibiting girls from going to school, or women being stoned under shariah, or biological men competing in women’s sports and out performing real women. I went to a certain subreddit that we shouldn't mention.
They mostly giggle at how it took us so long to give attention to their favorite book/show and they mock us for being low value men (i.e. men incapable of enforcing the patriarchy).
