Venting Userbase Gripes: People who only read the title

I went from being an active user posting to this site almost everyday to someone who only posts a couple times a week and the reason why is the userbase of this site, So why not start making threads with the issues that i have with some of users of this site and one these issue is users who seem to only read the title of a post, Their response often making no sense unless that user only read the title of the post. It's very annoying to put your thoughts out to the world and have them ignored it's also equally annoying to have people pretend to actually read those thoughts only to prove themselves as not actually caring about them and instead caring only about their post count.

This is very much an issue with the way the internet is now consumed, millions if not billions scroll the a select few website for their new dopamine rush.

Short form content has become so dominant, and it's highly addictive as well, hence the natural consequence is a diminished capability to remain concentrated on something that does not reward the brain nearly as much. I even find myself sometimes getting sucked into this sort of unhealthy usage.

True. Short form content has become so dominant, and it's highly addictive as well, hence the natural consequence is a diminished capability to remain concentrated on something that does not reward the brain nearly as much. I even find myself sometimes getting sucked into this sort of unhealthy usage.

And it's often used as a distraction for bigger problems that even normalfags are unable to face anymore, It's a cheap remedy which is perfect metaphor for root of societies problems.

I'm guilty of this, kind of. I'll rarely just read the title, but I'll often read over the post itself without absorbing a lot of the information. As in I read each word without actually understanding the overall post.
