They can't accept biological reality even when it's blatantly obvious.
Men are physically stronger than women and have faster reaction times. That's an objective fact. They're so lost in their delusional thinking that they legitimately think that they're fighting sexism by pushing women to be represented as unrealistically physically strong and advocating anyone who says otherwise to be censored.

Can they not see how this is going to lead to women trying things like the one in this video?

This post got me fruitlessly searching for about half an hour for that screenshot where some guy posted a frame from Invincible where Conquest is holding Mark by the neck, captioned someting like "How I deal with the five feet tall rice farmer when the US-China war starts." It's only ever foids who need to be prevented from taking part in warfare due to being too previous, weak, and vulnerable with those types. But short, weak, or sensitive guys? Not only does nobody have a problem with them being slaughtered, people welcome it.

I kek'd, but I still very much like the idea of them not getting an exception from war. Close combat accounts for about 1% of all combat deaths by now anyway, in Ukraine drones are currently being responsible for 75% of all casualties, artillery for 20%, and everything else (tanks, mines, air power, any combat including small arms) about 5%. At this point excluding foids from it can only be justified by "Protect the females!" instincts and wanting wars to artifically change sex ratios to have more women for fewer men (so, basically, there being no solidarity among men and men seeing each other only ever as competitors, as you've pointed out recently).
