With increasing violence and unstable at best economy, how are going to weather it?

I'm planning on things mostly going back to normal once the scamdemic is officially over.

I want to become financially as self-sufficient as possible. I also want to buy a firearm and learn how to use it. Ideally (although it's probably not needed) I would also like somewhere permanent that I can go outside of the country if things get really bad.

Edit: I agree with the above poster though, most likely things will gradually return to "normal" over the next year or so. All the same, I would like to protect myself against the worst possible contingencies.
