Thing is us Amerimutts we don't have anything. We aren't like people in other countries who have a good union government job, a nice wife and family, their own house. We don't have that we just have our beliefs and guns. Everything else already got stolen from us. We aren't even good looking like Europeans.
We also got like our whole lives of movies and tv glorifying violence as the US is heavily militarized for the global empire. They taught people as kids that killing people and dying for freedom was the highest ideal(to support the war state).
And a huge number of Americans are trained in the military and security forces. All this creates a dangerous powderkeg where the authorities are scared to push too hard because it really could blow up.
We also have significant institutional support for standing up for liberty. Like major states and smaller state governments which banned mandates. And now a huge battle in the courts over the mandates.
For guys even those who got vaccines at first believing in them, many still are opposed to more vaccines and especially opposed to vaccine mandates. Something we all know for liberty is this is the hill to die on. We all know the government won't stop here they will keep doubling down forever if the people submit here. That was a big mistake of the powers that be was to double down so hard and so fast after the first vaccines, it showed their hand.
It would have been a lot smarter to make Covid mainly go away after the first vaccines. Then wait maybe two years and have another 'outbreak'. To rush it the way they did it blew the belief in vaccines. If they had waited two years pro-vaxxers could point to the success of the previous vaccine. But our leaders are so power hungry they couldn't wait, they got addicted to the power and wanted more too quickly.
