Forget some oil/natural gas/etc. riches that could sustain the system (and those can run out like happened in Nauru, which used to be rich), they are an exception. Most countries aren't Qatar, Kuwait etc.

This UBI daydreaming must stop. It only works if all other benefits are eliminated and the UBI is so low that it's in no way possible to live with it only.

All I need is a computer with internet connection, some food and water, and a roof over my head. I think that's achievable with 1.2k UBI a month.

Consider this:

300-400$ rent (that is if you move to some rural shithole but it doesn't matter since you won't leave you home except for groceries)

400-500 $ for food

and 40-50$ for the internet provider

That's 950$ a month at most (Plus, you can find cheaper rent in some parts of the West, and if you move to the East it's way cheaper than that. Especially if you're using your Western UBI there)

Even after all the deductions you'd still have extra 250$.

So, what do you think?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, a Univeral Basic Income is the last step toward the creation of the greater welfare state. They're beginning by stripping people access to low skilled jobs (retail, factory, fast food etc) and automating it to robots. They'll eventually work their way up to more skilled jobs, the goal being to create a class of mere consumers dependent on the state.

The elite will use the state as an instrument to hand out money to the average person, the people would then hand that money to the elite in order to buy their junk, the elite would then pay taxes handing the money they gained back to the state creating a cycle where those at the bottom are forever losers (as they're dependent on the state) and those at the top remain winners.

This is why I'm trying to get into the rich bourgeoisie club before most entries are closed off for good.

My current life is sad as well, and I've lost all hope.

Being locked in a room shunned from society, posting on incel boards all day is all what I do these days. There's no point in trying to looksmaxx, work, or do anything for that matter. I'm literally waiting for my parents to die so I could off myself.

All other forms of assistance should be eliminated also: food stamps, rent assistance, subsidised housing etc.

1k per month is waaayyy higher than anyone has ever realistically proposed even in expensive and high nominal GDP per capita countries like Finland. UBI is only possible if it's so low that one can't live with it.

If all get extra (realistically for the majority, it is just extra taxation in the end) 1200 a month, do you think prices are not affected? Also, prices increase also because the labour supply is reduced. Supply decreases, demand increases. Prices go higher.

That would be incredibly cheap. GTX 1660-level PC costs 1000 euros here, or costed, now prices are much higher than a few months ago. And in fact, all is sold out.
