Unironically why doesn't everyone use duckduckgo as their default engine?

I used to be under the impression that it's subpar or something, but I switched to it yesterday after google locked my safe mode on, and it's literally exactly like google but cleaner. It's just as fast, likely more accurate results, no ads as top results, and oh it doesn't keep and sell your fucking information
