As I am Eastern European, new year's is my "Christmas". It's the day when we get gifts and all that. Anyway, there's a saying we have about the new year and it goes something like this: the way you meet the new year is going to be the way you'll spend it. Me? I'm getting drunk alone. Nobody I know even bothered to contact me now. Last year, when I just finished college, at least a couple of people invited me to dinner during the holiday week. This year it was no one. It's fine though. Those people didn't like me anyway.
