IMO he was far more intelligent than the media at the time realized. His manifestos and many writings are deeply intellectual pieces, his predictions for the future of an industrialized society was almost prophetic. And he left behind a quote that should be used often.

In a way the techno-industrial society has created us. Before the industrial revolution many of us would have had a chance at completing our biological life goal of reproducing and well, If not we’d be dead

Anarchoprimitivism is peta cope being moslty a single whole natural fallacy full of romanticism and fetishization.
His ideas are, while interesting and thougt provoking, not based in reality and mere ramblings of a mad, admittedly eloquent, man. It's still an interesting read and can be the beginning to deeper insigths.
