I've been playing on Japan version. It's not a bad game. You can easily rise through ranks (there is PvP team aspect to the game) even if you don't drop any money on it.

Snowbreak, Nikke and all Mihoyo gachas have actual gameplay on top of waifu stuff. So devs definitely start giving us actual gameplay not just waifu slideshows.
