Why pokemon?

metapods typically only know 1 move called harden, it does 0 dmg and just raises the pokemons defense.

therefore 2 metapods battling each other would be a never ending battle.

I watched the cartoon when i was young and had some cards that's about it, never was that much into it.

i had a bunch of gen 1 pokemon cards but i lost them when i was kid.
