This shit has been happening for a while and it won't be long until they have this permanently installed in some places as for now they are just using Vans placed in busy areas and there have been notable false positives (funnily enough it was all ethnics who were falsely identified) and other cases where people who had been wrongly accused of violating probation agreements.
