If you are ugly, people will always view your attributes as inferior to that of a handsome person. It is thanks to the halo effect, and i think it is caused by the media portrayal of good looking people compared with ugly people. it may also be genetic to a big extent.
in this video we can see the judges faces before this guy even started the act. he even got buzzed, which was followed by laughter by the crowd. Because how can an ugly nerd POSSIBLY have any talent? If he was handsome do you think the same would have happened? I get this was done on purpose to create the character 'eugene' but still, it goes to show how ugly betas are seen by society.
During the act, eugene's poem was pretty damn blackpilled. For some reason, this was incredibly funny to the judges and audience. For example, he said "I am a loser, always were, so i said, thank you mother". How exactly is this funny? is it funny because someone who is ugly and likes poetry is expected to be a loser? if he was handsome would their reaction be the same? no. the act wouldnt make any sense if he wasnt an ugly nerd. because ugly people are expected to fail at life, and that's funny.
