The primary issue is the man who seems interested in me. I find him very unattractive, and given some of the views he expresses, it almost feels insulting when he tries to get close to me. My current strategy is to keep conversations with him as brief and professional as possible, and sometimes that works. However, he often comes up to me and asks things like, "Are you okay?" or "Why don't you want to talk to me?" which makes the situation awkward.
