Last week, the U.S. Department of Justice announced:
A Fall River woman pleaded guilty today in federal court in Boston to child sexual exploitation charges. Nichole Cyr, 27, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of children. U.S. District Court Judge Leo T. Sorokin scheduled sentencing for Dec. 20, 2022. Cyr was indicted by a federal grand jury in November 2020.
“The production of child sexual abuse material immortalizes the horrific act of sexually abusing a child through photos and video, making it even more difficult for survivors to heal from the trauma of abuse. Today’s plea ensures Cyr will face significant time behind bars for her actions,” said Matthew B. Millhollin, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England.
According to the indictment and other court records, Cyr was a babysitter hired to take care of a two-year-old boy and a seven-year-old boy. But on at least two occasions, Cyr produced child pornography by sexually assaulting the two children whilst video-calling and therefore live-streaming her actions to a 51-year-old man she met online.
An affidavit from a Homeland Security Investigations agent described some of the child pornography that was produced by Cyr and found on the man's phone:
Because she pleaded guilty to both counts of the indictment, this disgustingly ugly hole now faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in federal prison and a statutory maximum of 60 years.
what a great personality
