A few weeks ago, I wrote a thread about the U.S. Secret Service's research on school shootings. Notably, some 80% of school attackers were victims of bullying.

For anyone who was interested in that particular thread, they're hosting a Microsoft Teams discussion with the researchers. It's targeted towards high school administrators, I think, but accessible to the public. I think it'd be a great opportunity for people to hear people discuss bulliedcels going ER from a more professional perspective, instead of Reddit or Twitter's typical moral panic about guns or inkwells or whatever.

This interests me pretty much to see from which perspective they will tackle the problem. It would be nice if the government actually tried to do something about bullying in schools. I fear it will be just for the show.

100%. There are no solutions to this issue. These shootings are collateral for the way in which society has developed to this decayed point in time and are only a symptom, not the problem (In depth, nuanced discussion). Anti-bullying campaigns and strict shooter drills have been a think for over 20 years across the country. The only "solutions" that these glowies have is more surveillance and monitoring, and taking away 2nd amendment rights for everyone. The irony is that these loss of freedoms create a repressed and discontent population thus leading to more shootings. I'd love to hear this virtue signalling discussion though.

Basically, stop socially ostracizing people based on factors that they cannot control like appearance and on bad social skills. Stop equating being ugly and shy as automatically creepy. Anyway, the obvious solution would be ensuring that there's a serious punishment for bullies like a penalty fee, or another punishment related to school like even getting entirely expulsed from school. Every single time bullies get away scott free from any responsability, and this is why they keep doing what they are doing. You can't expect these normalfags to think twice if they don't face any consequences. Of couse this is not possible at all since teachers and other authorities are corrupt and incompetent, so the pressure should be applied to authorities as well.

People forget teachers are also the bullies, and even if they don't engage in direct verbal or physical bullying, they have the responsability to keep things civil, but they don't, they ignore wether the kids speak about their victimhood and instead blame and punish the kid for daring speak about it.

I find it hilarious how there's a constant pressure from all sides telling you to not be racist (towards anything but whites), sexist (only towards women), ableist (doesn't apply when women make fun of autistic men), which prevents it from happening most of the time (the only exception being this niche forum), YET, there's not any pressure in stopping bullying both from goverment and so(y)ciety.

They tried to take away alcohol and the mafia flourished into a massive stormfront. If they take away the second amendment that's cause for people to disobey the government. A lot of Lefties and Righties feel the same way about the second amendment because that is what made America. The reason they bear arms is to protect themselves against tyranny and assault. There would be no benefit to making education unattainable for the bully. Nor would there be any support for it either. If I was still being bullied I would prefer my Bullies to be humiliated as punishment. But how to humiliate them.. I don't really know. They would probably see such humiliation as a challenge to overcome rather than punishment. In their mind they would think they are correct and everyone else is wrong.

I'm only assuming but knowing how some of the horrible people work from first hand experience I could believe my hypothesis.

I think the problem lies with education being co-ed. Remove pussy and what are the bullies bullying for? Remove that primal factor from their eye line and I think bullying would decrease.

I think they are sadistic and get off on the suffering too. Never trust a teacher. My experience with them was them spying on me and letting me get bullied and harmed all my life in High School. It was legitimately creepy. Made me paranoid.

Yeah that's what happened with me. Instead of punishing me directly though they instead told me that "there is more of them than there are of you and we want their parents to not hate us".

I'm just baffled at why they acted in such a self serving fashion. Saying to my face that they are oh too happy to watch me suffer and are not going to do anything at all about it. I was hysterical but they didn't care. How sadistic does a person have to be? To get off on watching a child suffer.

They were all Figs that I dealt with too. So there is another reason why I hate Vom Figs.
