I don't doubt for one second that the US has a large enough contingent of loyal statists within its military ranks that if some percentage broke apart and went derelict, it would remain a strong enough force to overwhelm and destroy any insurrectionist uprising (US military high command has multiple contingencies in place for such scenarios). The national support for their aims domestically simply isn't there and they're living in insane fantasy land. I still maintain that this nation is on the verge of total collapse where this country would rather fight against each other and the federal government versus international foreign adversaries where winning in any military conflict is basically slim to none. Also, the older generations have basically impoverished all the younger generations here, especially the young adult men where there is simply nothing worth fighting for concerning national pride, there is nothing here to have pride in whatsoever anymore if you're not a part of the few comfortable wealthy. Soldiers who have no national pride make terrible fighters, and even better, having reduced a majority of men to be sexless or childless single bachelors, once again, doesn't appeal at all to the majority of men to defend this horrible rotten society. Who would want to defend such a society? Who would want to fight and die for such a society? I know that I don't and wouldn't.
