I've given money to male steamers, podcasters really, not dudes that play video games.
The reasoning is simple. Some of these people I watch for hours. They entertain me at work, when I'm driving and when I'm lifting weights. They make a substantial portion of their income from donations and subscriptions, an income that allows them to focus on making content that entertains me instead of a normie job.
I have plenty of disposable income. Twenty bucks every month or so is litteraly nothing to show appreciation for something that is so useful to me.
