IIRC her first encounter with Edward is just them staring at each other. Not surprising bc Edward doesn't typically talk to anyone other than his vampire family.
Bella basically just hates Forks, Washington, except for Jedward being a hot vampire, and she tends to look down on everything else. Somehow foids find this all relatable despite neither of the two main characters having a 'good pERsonality.'
