One time I was bored and I tried to buy a lottery ticket from a convenience store near the highway while on the way to San Diego. Cashier denied me the ticket because I didn't look old enough to him and refused to believe me even when I pointed out my birthday on my ID, which clearly met the age requirement to buy a lotto ticket.

Another time I got held up at the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport for the same reason. A female TSA agent held me up at the security line and kept scrutinizing my ID. Was there for about 10 minutes until my mother was able to prove my age.

Was at a pool bar with family (19 at the time) the Girl serving asked for ID

It used to happen to me all the time, but now I have a full beard and no one thinks I'm younger than 25 (I'm 30.) I still have a soft/round baby face, but I guess people automatically associate beards with adulthood so no one thinks I'm a kid despite my extreme baby face.
Just a couple of years ago I looked like a high school freshman at best.
