One time I was bored and I tried to buy a lottery ticket from a convenience store near the highway while on the way to San Diego. Cashier denied me the ticket because I didn't look old enough to him and refused to believe me even when I pointed out my birthday on my ID, which clearly met the age requirement to buy a lotto ticket.

Another time I got held up at the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport for the same reason. A female TSA agent held me up at the security line and kept scrutinizing my ID. Was there for about 10 minutes until my mother was able to prove my age.
