Trying and failing is as bad as not trying at all because either way you don’t succeed you end up in the same place like if you LDAR and not try at all you end up homeless eventually if you try your luck at wageslaving and fail too many times you end up on the streets if you don’t eventually succeed which leads to people eventually quitting constant failure demoralizes a person I tried failed too many times I understand that people don’t always succeed the first time but when you fail time after time after time after time any logical person would throw in a towel

you are forgetting that there is some chance of the guy not failing. if you are happy being miserable all your life because you didn't bother to try,then that's fine,but that's on you.Not saying that trying will lead to sucess(the world is not a meritocracy and even if it was,it's still all genetics) but it's still much better to try as that al least might lead you to some happiness instead of complete sadness

Not really true imo.
If you try and fail, you will hopefully have learned something and could rest easy knowing you did have the potential/resources to succeed at the moment. However if you never try, you will be always looking back and wondering if you could have done things differently. Not trying leaves too many what-ifs to be at peace with life. This results in one mistakenly believing he had the potential to succeed, but just never used it There is no greater burden than potential.
