Trump to lift sanctions on Syria.

Israel has now become Rhodesia 2.0 have fun @kikecel

If the GDP per capita in Syria raises due to improved economic conditions then they can spend more money in their army so it probably will hurt isreal in the long run.
it's not exactly about gdp per capita but nevertheless they will never get a powerful enough military to hurt israel unless they become jewish

I Think it's more of IQ that is the issue. Modern warfare/weaponry is highly dependent on the scientific basis of a nation. For Syria to truly break the iron dome, they must make a revolutionary, breakthrough weapon which demands high IQ scientists/high IQ soldiers and officers to use it effectively

That's true to be a superpower or at least some sort of regional power depending on where you're located but having your gdp per capita cut to nearly 1/3 of what it was prior to the civil war is going to have some serious negative effects.

Hope this is bad for Israel.
Lifefuel for @SyrianSchizoSage?
Absolute lifefuel.
The revolution the coup the lifting of sanctions feels like a burden lifted off my soldiers.
I am finally proud to call myself Syrian.
There was a sense of shame now it is pride.
Obviously we have much to fix and there is still some injustices being commited but it feels like we are not condemned prisoners but more like a proud people on the path to rebuild.
Btw I live in the west.

What how are the two comparable?
r u fucking retarded or something both are colonial settler states with apartheid systems surrounded by enemies where their whole existence is reliant on external support whether it's from the US, or the South Africans in Rhodesia's case and will thusly fall without it hence why I say it's Rhodesia 2.0 because without US support it will fall just like Rhodesia did with its international isolation

They have scientists but honestly they will license everything hoi 4 style.
Maybe design small arms and artillery not engines aircrafts tanks etc.
Iron dome gets fucked by mass drones they are building lasers to combat that but what if we spammed mirrors?
The thing is I doubt we will become allies nor will we become enemies.
It seems like the Golan might return if we demilitarize it Rhineland style plus advocate for two state solution rather than not recognizing Israel.
Seems like Sharaa is pragmatic but I am not sure how the nation will react

Actually, you're right. It's very easy to slap a extra gun on a tank. The hard part is the material science (armor of a tank, engines, aerodynamic of missiles etc) and digital science (datalink between different equipment, target acquisition which demands high tech camera industry)

Even Iran, a relatively high IQ middle eastern country, is struggling coming with anything that isn't a copypasta of 70s weapons.

Or simply keep recycling 70s equipments and calling them "most modern, latest weaponry"

The main power of a modern army is the air force. Air superiority ensures the enemy can be beaten down without resistance.

Aerial vehicles are also very fragile and maintenance intense.

I can see Israel actually struggling if countries stopped supplying them aerial spare parts.

Also if we get Air defense preferably no pozzed french air defense systems or whatever we won't need an airforce or at least it wouldn't be that necessary.
What I fear the most is Israel going Greater Israel and trying to invade us because they fear our progress and determination Syria would be fucked again.
Turkey seems sto support us with their military and they might give us protection
Plus the Israelis seemed to back off and are starting to chill out
