As if they didn't get enough validation from dating apps, being able to get 100s of matches after just a few hours of making an account.

Now they can go to this sub and have hordes of simps fawning over them and telling them they're beautiful. At least with dating apps there is (some illusion of) the possibility of dating/sleeping with the women. At least on social media most of a girl's male followers have at least met her in person, so they think they have a chance. On truerateme the simps are coming from all over the world, they will probably never meet the woman (and if they do she isn't going to know them by their reddit profile lol), yet they can't resist showering her with compliments.

Shit like this is the reason women's standards have become so inflated.

i think rating from a person who knows about beauty standard is accurate enough, they also can measure shit like IPD, gonial angle, FWHR, etc so it has elements of objectivity.

Lol that's only because the sub gives you a warning for ratings of 8 or more. I've seen many replies giving 7.5 or 7.9, basically implying they would give a higher rating but they don't want to get a warning.

Cope. See above, the ratings are artificially capped by the rules of the sub.

From what I've seen, negative ratings are drowned out by the positive ones. Plus negative attention is still attention, and females enjoy it. The fact that so many people are upvoting, looking and replying to their threads speaks for itself.

The only way to bring down their egos is to not give them attention.
