Lighting doesn't have to do with it. If I see my reflection on a frickin wall I still look like a fucking Chad. Yet when I take a photo (especially one via my phone) I look like a fucking 4/10 incel.

I know this. We subconsciously alter our appearance when looking at a mirror. Our brain tries to tell us that we've got a chance at reproducing. What I "perceive" in the mirror is not what others see when starting at my mirror image. 

I'm actually a subhuman in all types of self exposures, but my mind tells me that I'm a chad (subconsciously) when I see my own reflection.

And btw women used to show interest in me before I hit puberty. It all went downhill since then.
