I don't even have Russian accent bc my Russian's terrible but I do understand Russian pretty well but Israelis constantly mog especially kike ones (arabs did mock me but in a different way). IDF in Israel is basically a giant social credential factory. It’s where people build friend groups, work connections, and status. If you skip it, people subconsciously treat you like you’re outside the tribe.

Its also somewhat similar here in Finland, since we have mandatory conscription. Employers are not legally allowed to ask whether you served or not, but it still plays a part in the culture. But from what I've seen it seems to be a far bigger deal in Israel.

I do loathe the social and cultural landscape here, especially the secular one, and those who consider themselves 'Masorti' — which is a disgusting modern aberration as far as I am concerned. That's not to say the highly religious are considerably better, since they are also distasteful in their own ways, and I have serious qualms with Judaism. There is very little to like about the social environment here, and the people within it, but I don't necessarily hate the country and I do think its existence is justified for what it's worth, though it would have been better if it was never established and Jews assimilated a long time ago instead of being so persistent. I have also spent most of my life in isolation, and had to resort to spending the majority of my time online.
