You could argue this was a truecel trait 20 years ago...maybe even 10 years ago to some extent, though even that's pushing it. But in 2025, nearly everyone under 30 is a hyper-introverted, terminally online memelord. This is especially true for those in the 18-25 age range. Most of my coworkers are in this age range and it's blatantly obvious they're all terminally online. They talk about memes, reddit, tik-tok, e-celebs, and internet discourse constantly. They also just randomly spout memes for no reason or rhyme. "SIX SEVEN SIX SEVEN SIX SEVEN!!!" "NOTHING BEATS A JET2 HOLIDAY".
These days if you are under 30 and you're an extroverted "grass toucher" who isn't terminally online and constantly glued to their phone, you're the odd one out.
